Understanding The Scope

The Client's Brief

Our client was looking for a premium, custom corner suite that could accommodate their family while serving as a statement piece in their living room. They wanted optimal comfort and style, but were struggling to find a retail-ready couch that met their requirements.

The Retail Shortcut

Standard retail lounge suites failed to meet two primary criteria: size and layout. Specifically, the client wanted a seating area deep and wide enough for two people to comfortably lay side-by-side. Off-the-shelf options were too narrow, leading to compromised comfort, or too rigid to fit the proportions of the room correctly.

Engineering The Solution

The Spatial Challenge

Designing a corner suite of this scale (2.5m x 3.0m) created a significant logistical problem. Large, L-shape sofas are notoriously difficult to transport, steer through tight residential doorways, and navigate around staircase corners.

Our Bespoke Design

We designed the suite from scratch, drawing custom blueprints to ensure every millimeter of depth was optimized for comfort. Upholstered in a premium black fabric, it grounds the space with a modern, cozy elegance.

To overcome the delivery challenge, we engineered a hidden detachable mechanism fixed to the inside of the couch sides. This is completely invisible to the eye when the sofa is assembled but allows the unit to separate into two manageable pieces for effortless transport and moving.
